Small notice:
I've generated systemimager v4.5.0-0.20170420git rpms for rhel-6-x86_64, rhel-7-x86_64 and fc-25-x86_64.
This release features a working (hopefully) rhel-6-x86_64 imaging initrd.
Far better output
Console progress indicator
Optimised dracut module that is far more compliant (no more trick inside to overwrite dhclient-scripts from 40network dracut module)
As usual this is not for production environment (except if you have no other solution as it somehow works).
Only rsync method is tested (and seems to work fine)
ssh deployment method won't work (dracut fails to see dot files when generating initrd with a skeleton, thus, not .ssh, thus no keys)
bittorrent method is not tested and has big chances of failure.
Things that still need work:
- pcspkr module is ommited by dracut for unknown reason => no console beep
- Imaging script needs big rework (pre install is run by dracut while post install is run by imaging script; this is asymetric, bad and may lead to error handling difficulties).
- make sure all shellout call have a reason as parameter. (need to update imaging script and thus si_mkautoinstallscript)
