building use your own kernel i get partition 1 does
not end on cylinder boundaries also using systemimager
i get error no disk device files were found
device /dev/sda no such file or directory

Well.. the partitions that don't end on a cylinder boundary is *not* a real
problem, the message is just printed to warn that you could break the
compatibility with the past or old systems.

The no disk device found, instead, is the real problem. Which version of
systemimager are you using? have you tried with UYOK
(http://wiki.systemimager.org/index.php/UYOK)?
